The Waste Of War: And On It Goes

One hundred years ago today, the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand plunged Europe into the bloodiest conflict it had ever seen. Over sixteen million lives were lost during the  First World War, yet few lessons have been learned, as we continue to start wars and send men and women into battle to die for unjustified causes.
