This was taken a couple of years ago. It was in colour originally, but in editing I changed it to black and white and increased the shadows, and it looked so much better for it – in colour, it’s quite an insipid picture.
Whilst I’m not remotely religious, I do like old churches and cathedrals. The architecture is amazing (more so when you think how long ago they were built, with no machinery!), and the ‘feel’ of them is peaceful.
