Tarot Tuesday: 3 of Swords & 8 of Cups
Not happy cards at all, these two. They suggest pain and unhappiness, dissatisfaction. A need for change.
If you have the courage to face the problems you’re encountering with honesty, this can be viewed as a whole new beginning, as with the Death card. There may be a need, or desire, to make lifestyle changes or for personal development; an acknowledgment of fault.
However, think carefully – are the changes you wish to make realistic, or are they a fantasy, a way of running away from the reality of the situation? Be honest with and about yourself and your role in matters. Only then can you make the right choices, not ones that will cause even more heartache further down the line.
You may have to acknowledge that there are unpleasant facets to your personality or your actions, but don’t get too hard on yourself – no one is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes. You are only human. If you wish to grow as a human, though, then this is your opportunity – admit your faults, acknowledge them, realise how they have affected things, and work to change them. You CAN do it!
